Hemodialysis is a method of replacement renal therapy, in which blood is purified from decay products and surplus water, using a special equipment called "artificial kidney." Usually the frequency of the procedures is 3 times a week, lasting about 4 hours. During the hemodialysis procedure, the blood passes through the artificial kidney apparatus, in which the blood is purified, and then returned to the bloodstream of the patient. There is a possibility of a one-time hemodialysis session in 5 patients.
